Easy Meal Planning Calendar

How is your weekly meal planning going? At this time of year we tend to feel overwhelmed with all the holidays coming up trying to plan out all of our meals and thinking about all we have to do. I have a system to share with you that I've been using for over a year now and can highly recommend for it's easiness and flexibility.

Gift Wrap Organization

Christmas is coming (sorta soon) so it's time to organize your wrapping paper and gift bags! It sounds frivolous, but trust me it's sooooo wonderful having these all organized.

Organizing the Tea Cupboard

Apparently I have a lot of tea, and my boxes were getting out of control.  Now I know it's hidden behind closed cupboard doors, but opening up a chaotic cupboard can have an affect on your mood.  I'd go in looking for something and it would be frustrating to have to dig to find it.  Now I don't have to do that!

Household Info Center

In our new rental house we have so much space, it is unbelievable!  We actually had a whole empty wall in our Country Breakfast Room.  So I wondered, what to do with it?!?!?!  The wall is between the front door and the garage entry door adjoining the kitchen, therefore i decided to use this wall for all things important in our household.  I've always wanted a mail sorter with key hooks on the bottom, so I set out in pursuit of one and came home empty handed, waa-waa.  Therefore I changed tactics.

Labeled Baking Canisters

Have I mentioned that I love the new Martha Stewart line of office supplies?  One of her new products is removable chalkboard labels.  These looked like so much fun I just had to try them myself.

Guest Bathroom Organization

When my previous roommate moved out and my husband moved into my apartment I decided to dedicate the 2nd bathroom to our guests.  I made a rule, only things for guests would be allowed in there.  That way it was prepared for people visiting for the afternoon and for people spending the night.
