Gift Wrap Organization

Christmas is coming (sorta soon) so it's time to organize your wrapping paper and gift bags! It sounds frivolous, but trust me it's sooooo wonderful having these all organized.

I had attempted to be organized before. All my gift bags were stacked in a clear plastic tub and I had attempted to listen to Martha Stewart when she had recommended this bucket organizer with a 5 gallon bucket for organizing wrapping paper on her show. But in the end it was an overflowing mess.

We went to The Container Store and bought the Elfa over the door organizing system when it was on sale. FYI as of right now it's on sale again!
You can buy a kit, but I chose not to because I didn't want the utility board, I wanted to use that space to put another basket for gift bags instead. I have way too many ribbons to keep on that little board!
Here is what we bought:

Ben and I loved this system because you don't ever screw anything into your door - No Holes! Yipee!!!! And it was actually pretty easy for him to install all by himself while I took a picture of him!

We used the medium basket on the top for party ribbons.  The rest of my ribbons are in a large clear container on the shelf on the left.
The middle baskets hold all of my gift boxes and gift bags. And then at the bottom is the third large basket installed with the wrapping paper wire.

The rest of my linen closet is organized using the beautiful baskets I got at Ikea.

All organized and ready to go!

Organizing makes me so happy!  How about you? Done any fun organizing projects lately?  I'd love to hear about what you've been doing!

Missing Photos

I apologize for a lot of missing pictures, especially in older posts. I was using PhotoBucket to host my pictures, but they've changed their rules and no longer allow links to them.
I will be re-uploading the pictures, but it may take some time...
