I started blogging because I enjoyed reading other people's blogs and wanted to share my own experiences with the world. Lately something I've been enjoying about other folk's blogs has been their favorite things recommendations. Not every product is something I want or need but it really has opened my eyes to lots of neat and helpful things out there. Without further ado, I bring you the things that I'm loving too!

Baby Led Weaning

This post should really be called Baby Led Feeding because that is what you are actually doing. There is no weaning involved here, Carolyn is 1 1/2 and she still nurses 2-4 times a day. What I'm actually going to be talking to you about is feeding your baby real food! When you begin the object is to introduce your baby to food (not feed them whole meals that replace their milk diet). Slowly as the baby eats more food it will take on the role of the nutritional source and the milk will become the supplemental source.

Our old hand-me-down refrigerator died three weeks ago and we were faced with a dilemma. Buy a used one off Craig's List or purchase something new that will hopefully last longer than two years. With some encouragement and support from my parents (they gave us some cash to help make it possible) we decided to take the plunge into buying a brand new appliance!  Thanks Mom and Dad, you're the best!
