I got my idea from here. I loved the Santa hats in her recipe but I wanted to change up the mix.
To start I melted a bowl of red chocolate melty discs.
Once the chocolate was ready i dipped the Bugles in it and scooped them out with a fork.
After letting them dry I dipped the bottoms in the chocolate again and then dipped them in white sprinkles. Lastly, adding a mini marshmallow to the top to complete the hat. Lay them on wax paper to dry.
Just one bag of Bugles made all this! The bag felt so light when I bought it, so I bought 3 more, oops! Guess I'll have to find something else to make with Bugles!
The hats turned out super cute and so tasty!
Next I made my own snack mix using store bought chex mix and caramel corn. I needed a lot since I was making 30 jars, in the end I still had enough extra for a bowl to take to a party.
I bought the cute little jars at the Dollar Tree (I know you're all surprised). Then I filled the jars up layer by layer sprinkling the M&Ms in so they wouldn't all sink to the bottom.
This snack mix was quite the hit!
