4 cup black berries
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
Mix all ingredients together and place into your favorite pie crust (homemade or store bought). Mikey says that he doesn't have a crust recipe, he just does it on feeling. Yeah, he's that amazing kind of cook! Before putting the pie in the oven or putting in the filling wash the crust with a mixture of egg and milk so that it gets the shiny golden finish. Bake at 425* for 15 minutes, then lower the heat to 375* and bake for 25 minutes. Let rest.
It goes great with some whip cream on top and a glass of cold milk!
