I blame this early seasonal decor on my new front door wreaths. As soon as I made them I couldn't wait to hang them up! And then as the story goes, that wasn't enough, the front porch needed more... So Ben sweetly loaned me one of his archery hay bales. I then added some new and old decor to it.
Recently I picked up this beautiful lantern at HomeGoods. I have visions of it changing with the seasons. I think it will look great for Christmas and even in the spring time! I stuffed it with some flowers and faux pumpkins I picked up at the Dollar Tree.
I also bought a new white craft pumpkin at Michaels. I have visions of dry brushing it to make it look a little more realistic and dirty or who knows maybe I'll do something else to it! Then I pulled out this stained crate we have and some previous year's dollar store flowers.
And the wreath (technically two wreaths) that started it all! See how I made this here.

What a wondrous scene you've created Loni! I, too can imagine that lantern the bohemian way. Decorated with lush rose peonies and speckles of green here and there. I agree. It can be used for all seasons!
