Baby Bath Hack

I have the most useful baby bathtub hack for you today!

First let's start at the beginning. When I was registering for Carolyn I knew that I didn't want to waste money or space on one of those infant bathtubs that you only use for a very short period of time. So I requested a blooming bath and happily received it at a baby shower! This worked fabulously for Carolyn in the kitchen sink for  many months!

They don't have it in my bright blue color anymore but they do have lots of other fun colors!

When Carolyn got too big to fit the kitchen sink anymore we moved over to the bathtub and put the flower in a laundry basket. We quickly realize that this was not very efficient on water because we still had to fill the whole bathtub with water. Then one day we were at Ikea and we came across the perfect laundry basket! It had solid sides and was just the right size! I have a link for it here. When we're done using it as a bathtub for Carolyn it can be repurposed into either laundry or storing a multitude of items. I'm all about items that have multiple uses.
The blue flower fit perfectly for many months until finally Carolyn outgrew it. I sent this picture to my mom and she said Carolyn look like a Cupie doll so I returned it with a second picture! What do you think?

After she got too big we took the blue flower out and let Carolyn sit inside the bathtub. We always sat right next to her the entire time because she could still slip a little bit inside the tub.

At about 18 months she was able to still fit in the basket but her feet would stretch out and she would no longer slip and slide in. Shortly after I discovered the most genius hack ever! I bring the bathtub into the shower with me and she sits happily having a bath while I take a shower. Now I can shower as long as I like because she is very happy to sit in her bathtub playing with her toys.

I gotta say I wish I would have figured out the shower trick sooner! Do you have any good baby hacks to share with me? I'm all ears!

Missing Photos

I apologize for a lot of missing pictures, especially in older posts. I was using PhotoBucket to host my pictures, but they've changed their rules and no longer allow links to them.
I will be re-uploading the pictures, but it may take some time...
