Double Birthday at the LA Arboretum

I've mentioned this before, but in case you didn't know it Ben and I have the same birthday - just three years apart.  This year as something special we planned to visit the LA Arboretum with Ben's mom and S-Dad Brian.  The clouds threatened rain, but we're nice enough not to rain on our birthday!

One of Ben and my first dates was to the Arboretum.  We loved it so much we started visiting other gardens around Southern California.

Just look at those clouds!  I'm glad it did decide to rain later, because CA needs it!

Ben saw something flying in the air!

The Good Year blimp!  There was an event going on at the Santa Anita Race Track across the street, so the blimp circled for quite a long time.

The colors were so vibrant, even the white, on this cloudy day!

Peacocks always abound at the arboretum, they love it here!

We also had a wonderful breakfast at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach with my parents, but I still haven't gotten those pictures from my mom yet.   Ben and I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family to spend time with!  I hope you do too!
