New Year's Eve Party 2013/14

Welome 2014 I'm really excited to see what you will bring in this new year!  To kick things off right Ben and I hosted a little New Year's Eve party!

The color scheme was black, silver and gold.  We reused the banner that Ben created last year, you can read about it here.

I also set up a little bar area on my hutch.  I cleared off most of the regular decorations and displayed some beverages I thought people would like.

Somehow it slipped my mind to get champagne glasses, but my friend Lauren rescued me!  To help make the sodas "pop" at the bottom I taped some white wrapping paper to the back of the hutch and put the drinks on trays.

In the dining room I set the table with the silver and black color scheme.

I hung dangily stars from the ceiling for a fun effect.

As guests began to arrive the buffet table filled in.

I used my Christmas centerpiece on the table paired with party blowers in glass cups.

Oh dessert, my favorite part of the meal!

Check out all the good eats!

Somebody waited patiently under the buffet hoping for something to fall.

My cousin Ben (we have many Bens around here) and his wife Chelli and adorable child Audrey came!

My cousin Auburn and her sweet daughter Maggie were in town and were able to join us too!

The mommies and their babies!

The whole party gang!

Out in the garage Ben created a gaming area for all the guys.

He has quite an extensive forest!

Inside I read stories to Maggie!

Isn't she the cutest!?!?!

Even Teddy came to listen!

Later on it was time to get the bubbly ready!

Of course everyone's favorite part are the party blowers!

Finally something she is allowed to put in her mouth!
Toooooooooooooooooot!

Is it midnight yet?????

Lucy says, "It is past my bedtime!"

Somebody got to stay up late and sleep in the next morning!
Cheers!

Just because it is past midnight does not mean the fun is over, time for streamers!

Ah, I got you!

This little one had the best time partying it up!

I wish you all a healthy, happy new year!

Missing Photos

I apologize for a lot of missing pictures, especially in older posts. I was using PhotoBucket to host my pictures, but they've changed their rules and no longer allow links to them.
I will be re-uploading the pictures, but it may take some time...
